AdminControl
Which servers does AdminControl run on?
Paper, Purpur, Folia and Spigot from 1.20.6 to 26.3, with Java 21 or newer (26.x needs Java 25). Every release is tested on those platforms before it ships; the wiki's overview lists the exact versions.
Does it work with Bedrock players?
Yes, with Geyser and Floodgate. A Bedrock player's linked Java account is punished together with it, and their heads show in the panel. See Integrations.
Can I use it on a Velocity or BungeeCord network?
Yes. The same jar goes on the proxy (Velocity 3.5 and 4.x, BungeeCord or Waterfall) and on every server, with one shared MySQL or MariaDB database. Bans are checked when players join the network, and the panel of any server shows the whole network. See Velocity network and BungeeCord network.
Do I need MySQL?
No. A single server works out of the box with the built-in SQLite file. MySQL or MariaDB is needed when several servers share their data. See Database.
Is it safe to open the panel to the internet?
Every account signs in with two-step verification, roles limit what each person may do, and every action goes to the audit log. Before you open the panel to the internet, put it behind a reverse proxy with HTTPS: the wiki has ready examples for Caddy and Nginx in Panel over HTTPS.
What does the license check send?
At each start the plugin downloads the list of revoked copies. The request carries your BuiltByBit user number, the download number, a random server id, the plugin version and the server software: no players, chat, accounts or configuration. The full list is on the privacy page.
Does my server need internet access?
Once: on the first start of a version the server downloads the text library the plugin uses from Maven Central. After that the license check waits at most 2 seconds and the plugin starts without it, using the last saved list.
Can I bring my punishments from another plugin?
Yes. AdminControl imports punishments from LiteBans, AdvancedBan, EssentialsX and the vanilla ban lists. See Importing punishments.
Which languages does the panel speak?
English and Polish; each person picks their own.
How do updates work?
Download the new version from BuiltByBit, stop the server, replace the jar and start it again. The database is updated on start and your settings stay. Every version is in the changelog.

On BuiltByBit. Your download is tied to your BuiltByBit account, and updates are downloaded there too.
Can I get a refund?
No: purchases are final. Ask before you buy if you are not sure the plugin fits your server. See Refunds.
